Job Description
You will lead the KYC Team with the support of the Senior Manager and assist the Guernsey Funds business by co-ordinating the seamless on-boarding of investors and new business as well as maintaining a high level of support to the Fund Administration teams for BAU.
- You will drive the on-boarding of investor and new business take on, regularly reporting on progress.
- You will work closely with your team to develop their understanding and insight of the investor and new business acceptance process, by defining approaches and providing guidelines.
- You will ensure that required information is collated in a timely manner.
- You will build and maintain effective working relationships with the wider Funds business, reporting issues to the Senior Management team as required.
- You will liaise with your local compliance team and help develop a proactive positive relationship between all teams.
- You will support the development and training of more junior members of the KYC Team in multiple jurisdictions.
- You will implement a culture within your team to deliver excellent client service, operational effectiveness and efficiencies.
- You will coordinate the risk profiling and rating of new investors and the periodic reviews of existing investors.
- You will be responsible for the review and sign-off of normal and low risk investor files.
- You will use your own judgement and bring to the attention of the Directors any issues which you feel appropriate, in particular ensuring that concerns and identified risks are reported in a timely and effective manner.
- You will develop and maintain strong, effective, working relationships with the administration teams within the Funds business.
- You will ensure that the on-boarding service provided to investors is consistent and delivered within best practice, fulfilling all contractual, legal and regulatory obligations.
- You will also conduct internal post-on-boarding reviews evaluating the service provided.

Qualifications
Education / professional qualifications
- Professional qualification preferable, but not strictly necessary
Technical / experience
- Familiar with reviewing CDD/KYC information, along with funds experience
- Computer / program knowledge
People skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience in managing a team preferable
