Group Fund Operations Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities 

To drive efficiencies and improved use of technology within the Funds segment, through use of the Investran product

Identify inefficient processes and ineffective use of the system, and implement solutions by completing root cause analysis, engaging with key stakeholders, and developing solutions with both internal teams and externals providers where necessary

To support the Group Product Manager – Investran in the delivery of all Investran improvement initiatives, with a focus on the feedback of key stakeholders and the Investran Super Users

Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)

  • Manage workstreams of the Investran Roadmap to ensure defined initiatives are achieved
  • Ensure regular and effective communication with the Investran Super Users, collating continuous feedback and being an escalation point to assist in resolving queries and issues
  • Be a key contact for support and escalation to the SSRS team for changes to the standard reports
  • Assist in ad-hoc requests that contribute towards the improvement and most efficient and effective use of Investran
  • Maintain good relationships with key stakeholders incl. external providers and consultants as and when necessary
  • Translating needs of the business into a viable solution

Qualifications

Must-Haves

  • 3+ years’ experience of providing SME support and guidance across a variety of different types of complex projects in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment
  • 3+ years’ experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
  • High level of proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting and communicating with diverse stakeholders / and or senior leadership
  • Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain engagement across globally distributed teams
  • Ability to critically assess processes to identify inefficiencies
  • Proven experience in effectively communicating new, or changes to existing, processes
  • Ability to take a creative approach to resolving a range of issues

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of or experience working in a Private Equity / Investor services industry
  • Knowledge and expertise of Investran
