Responsibilities (how we will measure success)

Business Planning Manager will focus on achieving strategic and tactical priorities and initiatives. He/she will provide business support to several programs, projects and reporting deliverables and will represent the Head of GCD India in several interactions and interfaces within and outside GCD.

In partnership with Operations Client Services team, HR, Finance, and other business partners, this role will create processes that will enable business leaders to define and align to the strategic objectives, develop actionable plans, forecast hiring demand, assess talent supply and capacity, and create reports on operational metrics to drive business decisions.

Functional Areas and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop business management plans and objectives.
  • Designing and implementing business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals.
  • Work closely with the Client Delivery Directors in carrying out the business strategies.
  • Ensure efficient and effective operations with appropriate controls and monitoring are in place to deliver to budget
  • Develop plans to achieve budget efficiency targets and embrace the continuous improvement culture to implement strategies designed to help IQ-EQ
  • Establish flexible, resilient, execution-focused organisation to deliver against compliance, quality, timeliness targets
  • Align the execution of GCD India continuous improvement, automation, and/or efficiency projects, partnering with GCD Transformation team
  • Develop and enhance internal client relationships through excellent communication, instilling ownership, and a responsive culture in the drive for high quality and timely deliverable
  • Improve Employee Engagement through developing a compelling EVP and a clear plan to support implementation
  • Lead & coordinate the reporting requirements for GCD, including all group requirements i.e. KPI’s, dashboards, productivity
  • Drive efficiencies in the overall production, ensuring we have data consistency in our reporting requirements.
  • Analyse and report KPI and operational updates to ensure Business has clear understanding on the operational performance
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR teams on workforce planning system, and process to ensure ongoing engagement with business leaders.
  • Execute timely analysis while managing multiple competing priorities. Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders as well as work independently
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present information simply and cohesively to different levels of business partners.

Qualifications

Essential Criteria:

  • 10+ years of relevant Experience in a similar position

  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in Statistics, Finance or another field that uses quantitative analysis, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience collaborating on projects involving multiple teams, managing relationships with clients, and presenting to audiences.
  • Solid understanding of operational metrics with ability to explain the data insights to business partners.
  • Demonstrated experience modelling workforce trends and analytics, including the utilization of various forms of data analysis.
  • Experience working with a variety of information systems, workforce planning and large and complex data files, analysing file structure, using, and creating file layouts.
  • Demonstrated analytic and data management capabilities and reporting presentation of complex data.
  • Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel)
  • Strong PowerPoint skills required
  • PowerBI experience (advantage)
