Job Description
Duties Will Involve
Business Continuity Support duties
Support execution of the IQEQ Business Continuity strategy across all teams and locations
Working with regional/location business teams to conduct business impact assessments, identify critical services, define recovery objectives, and map critical dependencies.
Working with business teams to document Business continuity plans
Partnering with the Business, and Global Real Estate and Facilities team to coordinate and test recovery strategies as identified through the Business Continuity planning process.
Facilitating business continuity exercises and tests, to identify potential gaps in plans, as well as functionality of work transference processes supporting recovery.
Work with large amounts of data and create meaningful reports.
Support in launching and maintaining tools and POC for conducting trainings.
Liaison with support teams to implement the Business Continuity program.
SSAE18/ISAE3402 audit support duties
Planning, executing and reporting on SSAE18/ISAE3402 audits.
Maintaining and achieving high quality work and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
Scheduling, monitoring, tracking and execution of multiple SSAE18/ISAE3402 engagements.
Obtain root cause of the underlying issues/audit queries and provide pragmatic approach to resolve.
Collaborate with Group functions to validate service description.
Performs other duties including involvement in other projects as necessary by the business.
Qualifications
Requirements
4+ years' experience implementing and managing business continuity or risk management programs.
Good understanding of Operational Controls.
Excellent strategic, problem solving, and analytical skills.
Review test of design and operating effectiveness.
Ability to identify risks and weaknesses in various business processes.
Ability to collaborate with others to manage project.
Excellent communication skills.
Advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Good project management experience
Preferred Skills
Bachelor's Degree in business or related field.
Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII), Business Continuity Institute (BCI), or other business continuity professional certification.
Experience with commercial Business Continuity tools.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple complex projects.
What you need to succeed
Proven control/audit/business continuity experience within the Regulated Financial Services Industry
Comfortable communicating with diverse stakeholders including subject matter experts, peers, managers, customers and suppliers.
Can do’ attitude, ability to cope with tight deadlines and work under pressure effectively and professionally
Ability to take initiative and self-manage
Excellent communication skills, (both written and oral) with the ability to flex communication style to suit the audience
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify problems and challenges, demonstrating strong analytical ability as well as providing informed insights
High degree of literacy in applications such as; MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio
Ability to grasp abstract/new concepts quickly and take a creative approach to resolving a range of issues
Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with experience of running results driven workshops
