Job description

  • The Executive Direct Tax Compliance Officer is responsible for the timely and correct handling of the day to day specific Corporate Income Tax (CIT) requirements of our clients, including correspondence and preparation of the Corporate Income Tax returns.
  • Preparation of Luxembourg Corporate Income tax returns, Corporate Tax provisions, withholding tax returns as well as review of tax assessments for a wide variety of Luxembourg based clients (Private Wealth, Corporate or Funds);
  • Proactively participate in projects related to the improvement of tax reporting internal processes and templates;

  • Help building the foundation of a CIT centralized tax team in Mauritius for CIT preparation work while reporting to the Luxembourg tax team

  • Assist on ad-hoc projects such DAC6, ATAD 3 as needed;

  • Liaise with IQEQ accountants and corporate officers in Mauritius or abroad


  • You hold a University degree or equivalent certification in Tax, Accounting, Business administration or equivalent. Ideally a tax certification combined with accounting university degree is preferred
  • Proven accounting experience (at least 1 year) and willingness to fully dedicate to tax compliance reporting can be considered
  • You have proven exceptional interpersonal skills that have resulted in business relationships of trust, confidence and top results.
  • You will be comfortable in multicultural environments built on a shared culture of team spirit, mutual respect and openness.
  • You demonstrate excellent writing, communication and presentation skills, including strong writing, research and analytical skills.
  • You show well established organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • You have a proficient level in working with MS Office applications.
  • You are fluent in English. French and/or German would be preferable with any other language being an advantage.
