Duties
- Independently manage a diverse portfolio of Capital Markets clients with responsibility for ensuring the delivery of all transactional, company secretarial, corporate and administrative affairs
- The portfolio will comprise of aviation and structured finance clients across a wide range of asset types, including securitization's, CDOs, CLOs, repackaging, receivables, and leasing transactions
- Supporting clients on the implementation of their structures including management of the transaction closing process which includes reviewing suites of legal documents
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders auditors, tax advisors, lawyers, investments managers and other transaction parties
- Proactively develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships within the Company and on occasions across the Client Service teams in other jurisdictions, promoting a culture of support, collaboration and a joined-up approach to servicing clients
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of client relationship issues, ensuring timely escalation of more complex client queries and issues to the Transaction Management Director
- Support an on-going program of continuous improvement, identifying and escalating opportunities and implementing changes
- Responsible for keeping up to date in relation legal and corporate governance developments particulars those that have an impact on capital market transactions
Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)
- Assist with the process of on-boarding new clients including handling KYC issues, compliance regulations, ensuring clients meet client acceptance procedures
- Ensures the proper handling of transactions of clients, including but not limited to incorporation, transaction management and liquidation, in line with processes and procedures
- Manage the transaction closing process including bank account opening, tax registrations, LEI/GIIN registration, review and execution of legal documents while working closely with the legal advisors and the client
- Ensure good legal standing of client companies under management during the whole “lifecycle” of companies
- Ensure that key transaction data is recorded and kept up-to-date on internal records
- Ensures that all transactions performed in the allocated portfolio are fully understood and deliverable obligations are fulfilled
- Preparation and distribution of board meeting materials, attendance at board and drafting of minutes of and matters arising
- Assist with operational projects to align day to day tasks with new regulatory requirements
- Provide necessary guidance and support to more junior members of the team
- Maintain and grow excellent relations with existing clients and intermediaries
- Drafting corporate services agreements, to be able to discuss queries raised by clients during onboarding

- May be required to act as directors on the Board of client companies (unregulated entities) within the team under supervision of the Transaction Management Director from time to time
- Support the Transaction Management Director on business development initiatives and attend meetings with business partners, internal global network and potential new clients
- Works closely with other teams in IQ-EQ, including but not limited to, Fund Management, Legal, Business Development, and Accounting, in order to achieve client objectives
- Ensure clients are being billed accordingly with the terms of the Corporate Services Agreement and monitor / follow up on overdue fees
- Flagging any other client issues to senior management
- Identify market trends and legislative changes that may impact the business
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, while actively contributing to process improvements within the team
