Job description

The Learning & Development Manager will lead, develop, and coordinate the implementation of a performance-focused Learning & Development approach aligned to our overall company strategy.  He/she will lead and upskill to support a wide portfolio of projects including onboarding, leadership development and learning pathways for all our employees.

 The role will facilitate the implementation of the strategic L&D agenda - co-create/facilitate and embed processes, effective delivery channels, curricula design, content management standards etc.

The role will undertake a proactive approach in delivering an effective onboarding process to meet current and future business needs.

Tasks

  • Contribute to strategic growth and operational development of the Firm by delivering Ascent training programs in partnership with the group HR team
  • To work within the Learning and Development Team. To embed the Group competency framework 
  • Deliver the Global induction training program for all new starters
  • Lead the coaching and embedding of all Ascent programs on the round with the local management team
  • Delivering training programs based on the needs of the organisation.
  • Design of  programs in partnership with the group HR team as outlined by the operational requirements of the business.
  • Updating and maintaining training programs in collaboration with the Learning and Development Team in order to incorporate changes occurring in the work environment.
  • Working in a team to prepare training materials that are of a satisfactory standard to all relevant parties including line manager, Provide quality evaluation of the contribution training has made to the business.
  • Train and developing our people, ensuring the workforce is able to meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Drive a positive customer focused environment that people feel contented and able to grow and develop to the best version of themselves.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects with systems, databases and KPIs.
  • Foster a collaborative partnership with departmental managers to achieve the best result for the colleagues and the business.
  • In conjunction with the HR Lead continually review processes to ensure we are cost effective and fit for purpose through all our training and development.
  • Evaluate individual and organizational development needs - Assess the training needs, both technical and soft skills, and develop a training calendar for IQ-EQ Philippines.
  • Liaise with the Group L&D team to understand the catalogue of trainings. Assess, adapt and deliver the trainings that meet identified development objectives and needs of IQ-EQ Philippines;
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships that enables effective training interventions to be designed, delivered and evaluated.
  • Measure outcomes with agreed metrics
  • Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings
  • Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
  • Work closely with various leaders across the organisation to have a full understanding of their units and training requirements
  • Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
  • Build relationships with 3rd party training providers:
  • Develop, maintain and deliver a comprehensive process to embark and accompany new employees during their probation period.

Qualifications

Essential
•    Experience in design of training materials and delivery 
•    Excellent standard of verbal and written English.
•    Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
•    Possessing an excellent attention to detail.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Experience of using a Learning Management System.
•    Comfortable communicating with senior management.
•    Can do attitude, ability to work to deadlines and work under pressure.
•    Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Desirable
•    Financial Services Experience and/or Private Equity Experience.
•    Experience of using of an E-Learning authoring tool to create learning content.
•    Experience of working as part of a project team and reporting on completion of project milestones, tasks and issues.
•    Travel may be required to deliver training programmes to global locations.
•    MBTI qualified
•    Experience of Competency frameworks – ideally Korn ferry
