Navigating capital markets has never been more complex. Increasing regulation and rapid technological change means that issuers, lenders, and insurers must be nimble and able to adapt. Our Capital markets business go the extra mile to ensure that we achieve the best outcomes for our clients – with solutions adapted to your capital, liquidity, or risk management. We have in-depth knowledge of the full range of asset-backed, synthetic, and covered bond transactions, alongside corporate bond issuance, project finance, aircraft finance and trade receivable deals. Our flexibility and agility mean we can handle smaller private or warehouse transactions through to multi-tranche, multi-currency benchmarks.

You will be able to proactively direct and develop the Capital Markets Service Line. Drive new business development, revenue growth and service line expansion in line with the business strategy. Ensure that the teams, tools, and processes deployed in service delivery are optimal and fit-for-purpose. Understand fully the regulatory environments that affect the business and effectively ensure that processes and measures are in place that achieve compliance.

We need you to drive and execute the strategic development of Capital Markets in APAC, contribute to the development of the strategy of Capital Markets, identifying major business opportunities within the agreed Service Line strategy, generate a pipeline of Capital markets prospects, set out the business plan and drive execution and go-to-market in the sector, contribute to and deliver thought leadership in the sector, aggressively market the Capital markets services though out the region.

You will responsible to drive a culture of excellence and shape the operational teams, tools and processes, actively promote a constructive "pro-compliance" culture at both local and Group level, lead and guide teams on the completion of major transactions across the jurisdictions and lead key pitches to Capital markets clients and prospects, in collaboration across jurisdictions

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Law, Business Management or a related field, and at least one internationally recognised, relevant professional qualification

10 to 15+ years’ experience in Capital Markets, a portion of which at senior leadership. Proven experience in commercial roles

Understanding of business process management and optimisation, as well as the principle of continuous improvement

Experience of working in Leadership roles

Fluent English, knowledge of a second language (e.g. Chinese, Japanese etc.) would be an asset
