Job description

As Director in our CFO / COO Consultant Group you will lead engagements for new and existing clients of varying sizes and with varying needs. Our clients have access to financial professionals with decades of experience without the need for a full-time staff. The Director will supervise members of the team in executing and maintaining all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. This includes payment of all invoices, issuance of bills and collection of cash. The Director will also work with the CFO team to support clients with ongoing accounting needs, including invoicing and allocation etc.

Day to day

  • Develop and oversee employees in delivery of services
  • Work with clients to deliver outsourced CFO / COO and related services to Alternative Fund Managers
  • Participate in special projects
  • Develop budgets
  • Financial Statement review
  • Establish accounting practices
  • Accounting principles and issues research
  • Create financial models and provide ad-hoc financial analysis
  • Review of service provider contracts and formation documents
  • Evaluate current financial and accounting processes for clients, propose improvements and help coordinate implementation efforts


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or higher degree
  • ICAEW or ACCA qualification required
  • 10 – 20+ years of experience in alternative investment management industry
  • Strong accounting and analytical skills
  • In depth understanding of investment management and alternative products
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks
  • In depth knowledge of Private Equity and/ or Hedge fund structures
  • Fund administration experience a plus
  • At least 8 years’ experience of working in a Leadership role.
  •  Fluent in English
