Due to a number of acquisitions over the last 12-18 months we are going through a period of transformation globally across 23 jurisdictions, employing almost 4000 employees worldwide and climbing. With this in mind, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Exchange and Office 365 Engineer to design, develop, and maintain our rapidly expanding messaging environment to be based in Dallas. 

Your responsibility is to provide technical support for the global Exchange on premise and O365 environment including overseeing the development and organization, along with the assessment and implementation of new technologies. Your focus will be to ensure our messaging platform offers the highest reliability and performance possible. Together with your colleagues you will work to achieve a state-of-the-art environment that meets current and future business objectives.

You will play a key role within the International Group IT Infrastructure team which manages the worldwide set-up. This is an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished Senior Network Engineer to join a market leading organisation to build its state-of-the-art global infrastructure from the ground up.

Qualifications

  • Maintain the group wide area Exchange/O365/Mimecast: monitoring, patching, capacity management, etc
  • Perform ongoing assessments, audits, health checks
  • Maintain, install, upgrade, integrate and consolidate the existing Exchange on-prem and Office 365
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of security and availability
  • Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures and documentation
  • Monitor security and system events and take appropriate action in case of incident including taking part in the off-hours monitoring rotation of the environment
  • Provide expertise and guidance in Office 365 and Exchange domain to colleagues
  • Identify which latest trends and technologies might have fit with our environment and its requirements.
  • Provide 3rd/4th level support
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • ITIL v3 Foundation

Background Experience

Up to 5 years spent as System Engineer in the operational management and evolution of an IT infrastructure in a mission critical environment with 24/7/365 availability requirements, Solid O365 skills, knowledge of SharePoint, proficient in MS Exchange/O365/SIP/Skype for Business.
