Job description

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Compliance Assistant to join our busy Compliance team in the Isle of Man. This is an integral role within which the successful candidate will perform a range of compliance related tasks to support the overall compliance function and ensure regulatory requirements are met in a timely and efficient matter.

The role holder will report to the Compliance Manager and actively contribute to the day-to-day activities of the Compliance Team.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years’ experience in trust & company administration;
  • A understanding of the legislation that applies to businesses carrying out trust & company administration;
  • Experience in processing CDD / KYC information including consideration of applicable risks and an understanding of alternative procedures that may be adopted
  • An understanding of the commercial risks attendant to financial services businesses and how they can impact the compliance function
  • Willingness to undertake study for relevant qualifications
  • A good working knowledge of 5Series, MS Word, MS Excel & Outlook.
  • Able to deliver excellent client service face to face, over the phone and in written correspondence
  • An ability to pay attention to detail
  • Well organized, with good planning skills and  the ability to manage own time and prioritise work
  • Capable of working to tight deadlines
  • Ability to carry out research into identified topics and prepare reports summarising such research
