Job description

As a Trainee in the Accounting team, you will assist the team with the preparation of financial reporting and closing processes. You will assist in the day to day accounting and financial operations of a dedicated client’s portfolio in accordance with the tax and legal requirements of the client/advisor. You will comply with the rules and nternal administrative procedures in accordance with the requiremets of the company and the regulator. You will contribute to client retention. You will also be responsible for recording transactions, file and archive accounting documents. One part of your job will be to assist accountants into the preparation of NAV calculation.

Every day brings a new challenge so you’ll need to be a team player at heart, with an eye for detail, great organisational skills so you can priotise your day and meet the deadlines. Building relationships across the business is a must have to succeed and be effective in this role.

Qualifications

  • Studies in Finance or an equivalent degree – School/University convention required
  • Knowledge of investment funds / financial market  is considered as an advantage
  • Excellent command of MS Office and programming skills
  • Fluent in English and an additional language would be considered an asset
  • Team player and enthusiasm
  • High level of accuracy and attention to details
