As a Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll work closely with globally dispersed cross-functional teams to produce a wide range of design outputs, supported by the wider design team. You’ll engage with a diverse network of stakeholders and lead the development of high-quality creative content – including print, digital and video – designed to drive the IQ-EQ brand globally across all markets. You’ll manage a large number of projects, small and large, at any one time, ensuring that each is delivered to the highest of standards, and fully in line with IQ-EQ’s brand guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a wide range of design and creative outputs to support the growth agenda of a 5,000 strong organisation. These outputs will support our three segments, key strategic initiatives (both internal and external), and other ad-hoc projects
  • Manage workflow, budgets and administrative tasks needed to ensure the efficient functioning of the design team
  • Act as a partner to the Group marketing team and wider business, offering creative guidance to ensure we produce market leading campaigns and design outputs
  • Manage and evolve IQ-EQ’s brand guidelines as a key cornerstone of our creative identity
  • Keep on top of developments within the field of graphic design, implementing where appropriate to ensure we’re always leaders
  • Manage freelance designers as required, ensuring they deliver quality brand-compliant outputs
  • Ensure that all employees know and understand our unique brand and how to use it through the development of clear guidelines and internal training programmes
  • Focus on driving brand awareness, sustainability, and profitable growth
  • Be hungry to know what works by tracking the effectiveness of everything we do
  • Manage all creative resources including internal traffic management and creative production schedules and budget management
  • Manage the relationship with and engagement of external suppliers as required

Qualifications

Required Experience

Education/professional qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in graphic design
  • Degree-level qualification in a related field or in-house expertise in a related business within financial or professional services
  • Strong creative design ability

Background experience

  • A graphic design expert with proven experience in producing consistently high quality design outputs across a range of mediums
  • An excellent creative eye combined with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using a number of graphic design platforms, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects, Motion Graphics, Canva, MS Office required. Experience working with Foleon would be a distinct advantage.  
  • Strong collaboration, project management, planning and multi-channel delivery experience
  • Experience managing different stakeholder relationships, developing cross-cultural networks and tactfully challenging opinions to achieve desired outcomes
  • Excellent eye for detail and upholding visual and verbal identity
  • High levels of self-motivation and personal accountability, bringing enthusiasm and energy to the team and peer group
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently

Languages required

  • Fluent in English a must. As a global business fluency in another language especially French would be a distinct plus
