Bring Your Kids to Work Day in Mauritius

We were thrilled so see the mini versions of our colleagues walk through the doors of the IQ-EQ Mauritius Office on Friday, 2 December. We saw many happy faces, big smiles and curious eyes.

Our ‘Bring Your Kids to Work’ event was packed with fun activities, delicious treats and a surprise from our local Santa Claus! We had the pleasure of having the Reef Conservation NGO on our premises, who prepared educational activities around a marine theme.

Children painted, drew, and played, all while learning how to preserve our beautiful Mauritian reef. Our ground floor was filled with laughter, excitement and cheers. We also installed a small nursery section for our very little ones who enjoyed the tents and toys brought in by our colleagues. They were well taken care of by our IQ-EQ nannies!

Our mess room was transformed into a Christmas paradise with a big bouncy castle, and children were treated with a variety of their favourite snacks, such as popcorn and candy floss, and they were served a healthy lunch with fresh produce.

With full bellies and energy peaking high, kids were exhilarated to see Santa arrive and unveil a mountain of gifts! One by one they happily took their presents while parents snapped memories on their phones.

We ended the day with refreshing ice-cream specially prepared by the best and most famous ice-cream seller of Port-Louis, who was fully equipped with his tricycle, cold tub, cones, and cups in our Reception. He joyously shared the traditional treat with the little ones (and the not so little ones too).
